Celebrating student creativity at IADT Library.
IADT Library Student Spotlight – call for creative pieces
What is the Library Student Spotlight?

So much amazing student work is created every day across campus, and IADT Library wants to give some of it a chance to shine. We’re inviting students to submit work to be displayed in our mini exhibition space on Level 1, currently showing the Trevor Scott exhibit.
What kind of work?
Photography, graphic design, poetry, screen printing, animation, model making, make-up, production design – anything creative!
Theme and concept
You choose the theme and concept. We want a mix of work that shows the range of creativity happening across campus.
Who can submit?
All students from any year or course.
How to submit
Bring your work to the Level 1 Library desk during opening hours. Submissions are on a rolling basis – there is no deadline.
Selection of pieces
We aim to show all submitted work that meets the guidelines. The exhibit will be ongoing and rotating, though space and timing may mean not every piece can be displayed at once.
Guidelines
- Submit physical work ready to display. Digital work should be printed at 300dpi.
- Maximum size for 2D work: A3. 3D work is welcome – smaller pieces can go in the cabinet, and slightly larger ones may be placed on a plinth if space allows.
- Include a small card (approx. 2 x 3 inches) with your name, course, year, and title of the work. Include a social media username if you’d like.
- Work should be sturdy enough to be displayed safely.
Terms and conditions
- Work will be displayed publicly and should not require trigger warnings or be offensive.
- You keep the rights to your work.
- You must agree to collect your work within one week of being notified that it has been removed from the display. We will email you when it’s ready to be collected. We cannot store work after this time.
